Terms

The terms for using ArchConnect.

Provisional draft

This page is still being reviewed and may change before launch. The operator's legal details and a contact address will be added after that review.

The service

ArchConnect is a project management workspace for architecture studios and the people they work with: clients, contractors and other project members. It brings a project's tasks, documents, photos, messages, calendar, quotes and tenders into one place.

Your account

  • You need an account to use ArchConnect. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • Give accurate details, in particular an email address you can receive mail at: invitations, password resets and notifications are sent there.

Projects, roles and invitations

  • Each project has members with a role (for example Owner, Architect, Contractor, Client or Viewer). The role decides what a member can see and change.
  • A project's Owner or Architect invites people to it. An invitation can be accepted or declined, and expires if nobody answers it in time.
  • Only invite people who should see the project's content, and only share content you are allowed to share.

Plans, trial and payment

  • Plans: Individual (€19 a month, 1 seat, 25 GB) and Studio (€79 a month, 5 seats, 100 GB, €12 a month for each additional seat).
  • New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial.
  • Payments and subscription changes are handled by Stripe.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use ArchConnect for anything unlawful, or to upload content you have no right to share.
  • Don't try to access projects or accounts you haven't been given access to, or to disrupt the service.

Privacy

How information is handled is described on the Privacy page.

Still to be completed

After legal review these terms will add: who operates ArchConnect and how to contact them, ownership of the content you upload, cancellation and refunds, how accounts are closed, availability and liability, changes to these terms, and the governing law.
